Sacred Ferality is the new language of painting

Between Portals and Presence – Sacred Ferality
There is art that shows – and there is art that opens.
Marc Sepeur's works are not conceived as mere objects, but as energetic spaces that resonate with the viewer. Each work is like a portal: raw, elegant, untamed – yet precisely composed.
In a time when art is often understood as an investment or decoration, Sepeur reminds us that true art is frequency. A form of communication that occurs beyond the visible.
An entrance from another room
Sepeur's approach to this painting style originated far from Western studios – in the sacred rainforest of Ubud, Bali, amidst rituals, smoke, drums, and the silence after a thunderstorm. Here, he encountered shamans who taught him not to guide the brush, but to listen. Not to apply paint, but to translate energy.
This experience became the foundation of his current approach: an intuitive, trance-like painting technique where control and surrender intersect. Each layer emerges like a breath – spontaneous, but never accidental. "I don't paint what I see. I paint what sees me."
Spaces instead of pictures
Sepeur's works are more than canvases. They are spaces that make the invisible visible: moments of stillness, transitions between worlds, traces of humanity. Gold, earth, texture – not as decoration, but as symbolic materiality. Each element represents a layer of consciousness, a reminder of what remains when all that is superfluous is removed.
The combination of spiritual painting and contemporary aesthetics makes each work a silent force field – raw, sacred, uncompromising.
A new generation of collectors
The collectors who acquire Sepeur's works are not looking for trends, but for art with meaning – for works that transform a room instead of blending into it.
Many of the large-format originals now hang in residences, design hotels and consulting rooms, where they are experienced daily – not as possessions, but as presence.
Beyond the surface
Each work carries a silent invitation: to look, to feel, to remember.
And yet Sepeur remains deliberately reserved. He explains nothing, defines nothing, only hints. Because in a world that names everything, true power lies in the unspoken.
